Logistics Executive

Job Description:

- The Logistics Executive is responsible for the logistics, warehousing and distribution activities of the factory.

- To develop and maintain effective and efficient (agile) supply chain (in full on time) and deliver benchmark results (highest quality against lowest cost) for the company, including those in the market place and the dealers.

- To set department & organization direction and standards

- To direct and coordinate with internal & external customers for achieving the lowest possible cost and maximum customer service.

- To develop a highly motivated, multi skilled, flexible workforce working in teams with good performance ethics.

- To carry out re-engineering of supply chain processes to promote continuous improvement and innovation

- To carry budgeting for the Logistics Department, and to monitor the spending against budget against Freight, Handling charges, Breakages.

- Also in a position to analysis the vehicle mix & optimization of vehicle mix.

- He must have a good exposure to manage all state Excise related matters, documentation, monthly returns. And should be able to ensure smooth dispatches without any hassles from state excise department.
