Logistics Coordinator
Job Description:
1. To contribute in Logistics that includes:
- Negotiation & Booking with Shipping & pre-carriage providers
- Work closely with Global and regional product head to develop FCL business
- Providing pricing direction to sales team and carrier options.
- Monitoring the loading and custom clearance process
- Focal point with global procurement team on securing rates, space and equipment support from ocean carriers
- Provide pertinent reports to management
- Conduit and trade lane / shipping disputes
- Basic knowledge about Inland Logistics
- Commercial Skills
- Preparation and analysis of various MIS reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
2. Desired Candidate Profile:
- Comprehensible English and good communication skills along with good Computer skills
- Positive Attitude
- Proven track record in ocean freight product development, ocean procurement, pricing and operations.
- Flexible working hours and Hard working
- Interested to work further in Logistics co-ordination for an International Trading Company
- Alertness Zero Error Accuracy and eye for detail
- Team player & good command over English
- Good command over MS Office would be an added advantage
