Job description

The position is a high character leadership role. Candidates should have high integrity, be people focused, coachable, team-oriented, strong work ethic, quality conscious, with a history of community and charitable involvement. Candidate should have the ability to not only communicate the Vision, Mission, & Values but genuinely live & lead from this place of servitude.

The Sales Head will be responsible for achieving financial targets related to membership sales, meeting and additional services. Ideally candidates will have high level sales experience with a track record of measurable success and achievements in delivering and exceeding multimillion sales targets.

Position Overview:

- Manage the sales function; oversee and coordinate, as necessary, all hiring, training and selling activities.

- Own the sales process: inbound lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification.

- Lead the efforts to develop and implement various sales and marketing campaigns designed to support the sales effort.

- Assist in the overall monitoring, reporting and reinforcement of KPI's. Specific emphasis on monthly revenue, gross profit, sales call activity, pipeline development and MIS.

Customer/Quality Focus:

- Listens to customer and assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction, including internal customers

- Inspires and demonstrates a passion for excellence in every aspect of work

- Strives to fulfil commitment to Quality in total product/service offering

- Lives Customer Service and creates service mind-set throughout organization

Position Responsibilities:

- Manage the sales function; oversee and coordinate, as necessary, all hiring, training and selling activities.

Managing a diverse team selling across multiple geographies

Manage and oversee the work of the Sales Team

Coach, train, evaluate and monitor sales representative's performance

Set and track sales targets and KPIs

Execute sales analysis, prepare sales reports and suggest improvements

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

- Ensure sales process is in place to maintain sales pipelines capable of achieving revenue targets and future

- Locating business potential by contacting potential customers, discovering and exploring opportunities

- Develop and oversee the process for entering and retrieving information into/from the CRM.

- Report to senior and executive level management regularly on group performance against established targets and expectations.

- Identify and communicate market information including, but not limited to, potential opportunities, trends and/or barriers to the overall sales effort.

- Work with marketing and product management to ensure product, pricing, promotion and packaging is consistent with sales strategies and customer needs.

- Focus on New Customer Acquisition and Revenue Growth.

Accountability and Performance Measures:

- Achievement of Sales, Profit and Strategic Objectives for the business unit

- On-time Implementation of Sales Organization quotas and performance objectives

- Thorough implementation of Sales Organization-impacting initiatives

- Efficient allocation of Technology, Support and training resources impacting the Sales Organization

- Accurate and On-Time reporting essential of Sales Organization Effectiveness

Requirements:

- 3+ years of previous working experience as a Sales Manager

- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel

- Good analytical skills with a penchant for identifying actionable opportunity, developing and executing a plan to address all opportunities

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team management skills

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, hire, coach and motivate a team

- Strong analytical and organizational skills

- Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed

Leadership Skills and Abilities:

- Sales experience with proven record of successful prospecting skills, sales planning, pipeline management, market knowledge

- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and effectively manage projects

- Aptitude for problem solving

- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral)

- The ability to build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities

- The ability to manage and motivate an outsourced service provider

- A skilled motivator with the ability to develop teams and improve performance

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, attention to details

- A strategic thinker that can weigh of the long term implication of potential sales activities

- Ability to regularly participate in out of hours activities and travel
