At The House of Abhinandan Lodha, we are always keen to innovate and explore innovative and newer strategies to drive brand and business growth. Given the significance of digital, we would like to set up a very strong in-house digital function lead by senior leadership.

Objective (Why do we exist?)

To create, manage and ensure delivery of the business plan within the agreed boundary conditions of budgets, cashflow and timelines.

Philosophy (What do we believe?)

MSS is an independent and powerful entity with a dual responsibility of 1. Playing the role of a CSMO (for the CEO) 2. Being a controller and enabler of business for the entire Sales & Marketing organization. The core philosophy of the MSS is to bring various teams operating to deliver differential objectives into one singular mega-objective of maximizing business performance through impactful propositions which will get the desired response from the trade and consumer markets. MSS is neither friend nor a foe of any vertical and is completely neutral and objective in nature and plays a critical role in managing varied expectations of various parties.

P&L role (What are the core responsibilities?)

1. Define Propositions with the CEO which maximizes revenue


2. Ensure All the Right Conditions for Sale of a project are in place (Budgets, Cashflows, Proposition, Site readiness, Approvals, etc.)


3. Ensure Launch calendar timelines for each slot are abided by and drive business results within these timelines - to maximize resource utilization


4. Maximize Operational Efficiencies by defining, controlling, and enabling sales processes which will enable the teams to achieve the target revenues at minimal spends.

Scope of Work (What do we do?)

Before Launch: (Business Plan and GTM Closure)

- Understand Project Situation

- Brief Market Intelligence and Marketing Teams on the Project Dynamics, Close Calendar & Revenue Commitments with CEO

- Create and Close the Business Plan, Budgets and Timelines (In conjunction with Launch approach presentation from Marketing)

- Use Data and Insights to enable efficient closure of overall launch and vertical-wise plans (in conjunction with Vertical Heads) o Design Inventory and Pricing Strategy to meet launch objectives

- Review launch readiness of the project in terms of approvals, financial products and budget cashflows

During Launch: (Controller/Enabler role with complete ownership of managing the Sales Process, Budget, and Price)

- Define & Monitor sales closure process in conjunction with Sales Head and Marketing Head.

- Review performance across sourcing verticals and enable them with data and intelligence to meet required objectives.

- Critical interventions over the course of the launch basis detailed understanding of the data

- Inventory and Budget controller to enable revenue targets

- Controller of all Price & Payment plan deviations, offers to enable revenue targets

- Ownership of Central MIS, data, and insights at various levels

During and After Launch: (Enable seamless conversion of gross to net and maximize business realization)

- Monitor and review the CRM process to ensure seamless gross to net conversions

- Enable the CRM and HLA teams to do effective collections with an objective of maximizing Net Revenues within the set timelines and Maximum Retention of deals

- Ensure that the CRM team is enabled with all details about the project which will help them deliver desired quality of CRM service to customers of the project

- Through data, ensure that the loop between CRM and sales is closed with all stakeholders being aware of information regarding transition from gross to net

- Quickly provide resolutions to customer issues which come up post sales in order to retain bookings.

- Act as the link between CRM team and other relevant departments for issues relating to approvals, demands etc, which can influence post sales customer handling

- Launch closure learning and reporting

- Fluent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Power-Point, Excel)- MBA (Top Tier B-School Only), Graduation in Engineering, Economics, Statistics and similar

Pre-Requisites to deliver:

- MBA (Top Tier B-School Only), Graduation in Engineering, Economics, Statistics and similar

- Minimum 10 years of post-MBA experience hard coded in similar roles in a networked organization

- Understanding of sales and marketing concepts & theory

- Ability to analyze data and derive trends/understanding from it.

- Fluent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Power-Point, Excel)
