Awarded the "Most Innovative Solutions for 21st Century Upskilling" at ELDROK India K12 Summit, BeyondSkool was founded by Payal Gaba & Atul Chugh who are parents, CXOs and MBA grads from top Indian and international universities with a combined rich industry experience of over 45+ years. The Academic Team is led by Zeenat Bandukwala, ex- teach for India with advisors and researchers from top institutes such as NYU, IIT and HKUST.

Venture funded by Tomorrow Capital - an early stage strategic investment fund, BeyondSkool has already grown 15x in its first year of school operations and aims to be profitable by FY25. The company is targeting to teach 1 Mn students by FY27. The experienced team of BeyondSkool is well poised for its exponential growth and moving towards raising their next round of funding in FY 25.

About the Role:

The promise of our offerings to schools holds true when we build it in conjunction with the best academic institutions of the world. We already have a stellar set of academic partnerships in place and plan to add more names to this list. Our ideal candidate will front the exciting responsibility of liaising, pitching and converting esteemed global academic brands as a curriculum partner for BeyondSkool. You shall be expected to be abreast of latest trends in the K-12 market (globally relevant courses, upcoming courses as per NEP and so on) and be expected to onboard partners in such domains to help BeyondSkool build and sell new courses accordingly. You shall also help forge domestic alliances with major corporates/ academic brands which shall help the school management perceive BeyondSkool as a global upskilling powerhouse.

In parallel, realization of customer success and brand leadership comes when our customers (read - schools) are not only satisfied with our services but are happy to refer us to other schools. You shall be responsible to run a referral program in conjunction with the Sales team to farm referral leads from schools and enable new business opportunities.-

What you will do:

Referral program:

- Build India's 1st and foremost referral generation program for schools

- Ideate and execute tools that enable the on-ground team to generate and farm referral leads

- Implement a process for prioritizing referral leads and make it the largest sourcing channel for BeyondSkool

Partnership Development:

- Collaborate with the Head of Events and Strategic Partnerships to identify and prioritize partnership opportunities aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

- Research potential partners, including education brands and industry organizations, to understand their needs, objectives, and areas of synergy.

- Initiate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to explore partnership possibilities and develop mutually beneficial collaborations.

Proposal and Agreement Negotiation:

- Prepare partnership proposals and presentations outlining the value proposition and benefits of collaborating with the company in conjunction with the co-founders

- Lead negotiations with prospective partners to reach agreements on terms, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.

- Draft partnership agreements and contracts in collaboration with legal and compliance teams, ensuring all terms are clearly defined and agreed upon.

Partnership Activation and Management:

- Work closely with internal teams to activate partnerships effectively, coordinating marketing, communication, and operational efforts to maximize partnership impact.

- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance against established metrics and objectives, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the partnership lifecycle.

What you will need:

- Demonstrated experience in referral and loyalty programs, partnership management, business development, or related roles, preferably in the education or non-profit sector.

- Having past exposure and active network with globally recognized academic bodies (especially across Communication, Math, AI, robotics & STEM) will be a preference

- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence stakeholders at various levels.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and navigate complex discussions.

- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify partnership opportunities and assess their potential impact on organizational goals.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving tangible outcomes and delivering value through partnerships.
