Awarded the "Most Innovative Solutions for 21st Century Upskilling" at ELDROK India K12 Summit, BeyondSkool was founded by Payal Gaba & Atul Chugh who are parents, CXOs and MBA grads from top Indian and international universities with a combined rich industry experience of over 45+ years. The Academic Team is led by Zeenat Bandukwala, ex- teach for India with advisors and researchers from top institutes such as NYU, IIT and HKUST. Venture funded by Tomorrow Capital - an early stage strategic investment fund, BeyondSkool has already grown 15x in its first year of school operations and aims to be profitable by FY25. The company is targeting to teach 1 Mn students by FY27. The experienced team of BeyondSkool is well poised for its exponential growth and moving towards raising their next round of funding in FY 25.

About the Role:

Our partner schools and their students are our key stakeholders. These schools are across key Indian cities. We want to channelise GTM to these schools by building relevant sourcing channels (digital, events, referral and partnerships).

At some point in this year, these channels should start delivering regular interests from schools and thus facilitate the sales journey. In addition, we want to establish the brand BeyondSkool in minds of school management and parents - We want to build a series of events to meaningfully engage with them and also deliver on our brand promise of upskilling. We plan to do this by launching a marquee event property which can bring major schools and students under one umbrella to compete and showcase their skills.

BeyondSkool also aims to build a unique networking platform for teachers and principals through a series of closed-door events. Hence, our ideal candidate will help us create lead-accretive channels, manage customer acquisition growth and cost, also build and deliver brand pull events (will be provided with a team). Last but not the least, the promise of our curriculum holds true when we build it in conjunction with the best academic institutions of the world. Our ideal candidate will spearhead the exciting responsibility of liaising, pitching and converting esteemed global academic brands as a curriculum partner for BeyondSkool.

You will be leading all Marketing initiatives and working closely with the founder.

What you will do?

Channel strategy & delivery:

- Pilot key sourcing channels relevant in attracting school management and build a constant pipeline for sales team

- Build the user experience and retargeting funnel to engage with schools in our pipeline

- Institutionalize target and calendar led approach towards channel contribution to sales

Event Conceptualization and Organization:

- Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of marquee events aimed at enhancing our brand visibility and promoting our upskilling programs

- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, budget management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution

Networking Meetups for Teachers and Principals:

- Organize networking meetups for teachers and principals from partner schools to facilitate knowledge sharing, professional development, and relationship building

- Curate engaging agendas and activities for the meetups to address the specific needs and interests of educators in the field of communication, financial literacy, coding, AI etc.

Strategic Partnerships Development:

- Lead the identification and cultivation of strategic partnerships with education brands and organizations to boost our product offering in the future.

- Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources and expertise for mutual benefit.

In a nutshell, all marketing initiatives (customer acquisition or brand) will come under your purview, with both the authority and responsibility to strategize and deliver.

What you will need?

- Proven experience in event management, with a track record of successfully organizing large-scale events or conferences

- Past experience working in the academic ecosystem is a preference

- In addition, should have exposure to sourcing tools such as digital ads, referrals, and ATL

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of the school landscape in India

- MBA with 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, channel-led lead sourcing (B2B with schools is a preference), event planning, execution & strategic partnerships
