About the Strategy Team:

- We have invested in a strong and professional strategy team that can help meet and exceed our growth ambitions and build organizational capability on all fronts.

- The team comprises of Strategy professionals from the best global business schools including Stanford, Kellogg School of Management, London Business School, University of Chicago, IIMs and ISBs. These professionals have been drawn from the likes of McKinsey, Bain, BCG, AT Kearney or directly from campus.

- The work ranges from pure strategy initiatives to getting it done. Also, the strategy team serves as an incubator for new initiatives across the company as well as building future leaders. The range of work includes:

- Drive Thought Leadership and Vision for overall Sales Strategy for the region

- Drive planning and execution of Sales Strategy initiatives for specific Project Launches

- Portfolio assessments including demand/supply modeling & projections for key micro-markets that drive future growth

- Support the region / sales teams with regards to specific needs such as consumer research ahead of a project launch, competitor analyses, market warming, and launch strategy

- Roll-out company-wide initiatives across the region such as automation initiatives, sales productivity enhancements, organizational transformation, and company culture & operational effectiveness within Sales

- Stakeholder coordination, both internal and external, to ensure sales targets are met

Key Responsibility

- Build and execute impactful initiatives that increase sales process efficiency and sales effectiveness, and significantly add towards the goal of achieving targeted top-line as well as enhance consumer experience at various touch-points

- Be an extended arm of the regional Business Head across all aspects to enable Sales AOP is exceeded

- Lead the execution of sales aspects of Go-To-Market Strategy by closely working across all key internal stakeholders

- Conduct in-depth market & supply/demand analysis, understanding of competitor landscape, customer demographics, and development of product pricing - and provide sales & strategy teams with the necessary intelligence on the same

- Assist sales strategy/plan formulation in close coordination with various functions including,

- Internal stakeholders: Sales, Business Strategy, Marketing, Customer Experience, Design

- External stakeholders: Customer TG, Channel Partners, Consultants, Subject Matter Experts

- Be the custodian for pricing and inventory management on-ground, in close coordination with Business Strategy

- Ensure Cost of Sales (CoS) is delivered within the AOP targets for the region, and identify areas for cost optimization

- Translate the strategic business goals into implications for sales teams, so they can create plans to achieve their targets

- Manage and review the performance and progress of the sales teams, and debottleneck any challenges they face

- Review, plan and execute various sales incentivization techniques and procedures

- Ensure compliance & control by constant monitoring of sales teams - processes, pricing and deviations, if any, etc.

Qualification: : MBA/PG from Tier I Institute, with 2 to 4 years of work experience preferably in Management Consulting OR should have worked with established Brands in Sales Planning / Sales Strategy / Corporate Strategy.
