The Group has also made history by recording the biggest land deal in India till date, buying a plot in Wadala for Rs.4,053 crore, from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The group currently employs over 3100 associates.

About the Strategy Team:

We have invested in a strong and professional strategy team that can help meet and exceed our growth ambitions and build organizational capability on all fronts. We are aggressively seeking a Sr. Strategist to carry forward the ambitious growth plans of the Group.

The team comprises of nearly ~30 professionals from the best global business schools including Stanford, London Business School, University of Chicago,IIMs and ISB. These professionals have been drawn from the likes of McKinsey, BCG, AT Kearney, Accenture or directly from campus.

The work ranges from pure strategy initiatives to getting it done. Also, the strategy team serves as an incubator for new initiatives across the company as well as building future leaders. The range of work includes

- Strategic initiatives across the company or incubating and driving new business lines like retail, education, etc.

- Operational effectiveness projects, with select departments being chosen each year for transformational activities.

- Partner search and setting up strategic alliances across functions

- Portfolio assessments including demand/supply modeling & projections for our key markets.

- Conduct feasibilities for new businesses or land acquisitions

- Project Co-ordination & Handover, leading to efficient project delivery in terms of time and quality of product

Your role

We are looking for people with a strong focus on driving operational strategy across the projects. This role requires working closely with the cross-functional project execution teams in order to facilitate and coordinate execution of projects. You would be required to lead associates across the strategy team and provide thought leadership to various departmental heads. Key responsibilities of the team include

a) Being a part of the concept design process

b) Manage livability elements including audit on livability, quality audit and customer care coordination

c) Developing Project Execution strategy for new projects

d) Facilitate implementation of risk management processes across project functions

e) Facilitate cross-functional meetings to resolve conflict dependencies across departments

f) Jointly identify, with construction management, resolution methods for any deviation from the project schedule and track its implementation

The person:

- Strong problem solving skills with a practical sense of what works in an organizational setting.

- High motivation levels with a - can do- attitude.

- Self starter looking for an exciting and transformational work environment.

- Possess strong communication skills.

- Interest in the real estate/ Infra sector required, passion desirable, prior experience in the sector desirable.

Education and Industry exposure:

- Ideally, should have 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of operations strategy projects

- Exposure to the real-estate or infrastructure type industries will be considered

- Operations strategy for very large projects

- Should have 5+ years of relevant experience in PMC type roles; Should have led operations effectiveness initiatives around faster construction / lower cost through technology or process, implementation of systems / processes for

- Experience in leading PMC / Consulting companies

- Civil Engineering + Masters in Project Management is required

- MBA preferred
