Lodha Foundation is the driving force behind Lodhas social impact initiatives and is aligned behind the purpose of using Lodhas capabilities and resources to enable India to thrive and become a high income economy by 2047. Improving quality education has been at the core of the work done by the Lodha Foundation for over a decade. A key enabler of economic progress and social mobility, the foundation is constantly deepening the quality and scale of its impact. We run 6 schools in Maharashtra and have a national level gifted education programme called the Lodha Genius Programme run in partnership with Ashoka University. Our initiatives currently touch more than 12,000 students across the country and we are on the journey to both scale and deepen our impact.

Who will you work with?

You will work as part of the senior leadership office to solve some of the most pressing issues facing our nation that enable India move to a high income economy. Leading the education practice will give you the opportunity to build and scale our ambitious interventions nationwide.

You are an important source of intellectual insight, framing issues in the Indian education system and building/guiding/inspiring a team can then execute to drive the intended impact. Specifically, you will be responsible for deepening the impact of the existing programs, identifying synergistic opportunities to scale the impact, manage/grow stakeholder engagements.

What will you do?

With your sound expertise and network you will provide leadership and direction to the education portfolio. Within the organisation, you'll play the role of an entrepreneur and run the education practice as a business leader whose only responsibility is to enable a substantial increase in per capita income of our beneficiaries and help inculcate values that encourage our beneficiaries to give back to society. You will be building and leading a dynamic team and will be responsible for integrating insights from internal and external specialists for implementing the program. Specifically your tasks will include (but not limited to):

- Oversee operations across the internal and external teams (budgets, communications, partnerships, human resources)

- Develop a unique scalable mentorship program synergistic with the academic program of

- Lodha Genius Programme that helps in inculcating the spirit of giving back amongst the children in the cohort

- Understand the needs and aspirations of the cohort, develop pathways to nurture the children to ensure maximum impact

- Bring in new partners to test ideas and scale viable initiatives

- Build internal core capacity to scale the program(s)

- Involve the Lodha ecosystem in supporting and championing the program

- Build subsidiary or supporting programs to enhance impact of the Lodha Genius Programme cohort

- Implement pilots and prove the scalability and viability of new initiatives

- Engage and involve multiple stakeholders for implementation, scale, advocacy and M&E of the program

- Report the progress to the senior leadership

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Business Administration, Masters in Public Administration, Policy, Economics or International Relations

- Excellent academic record throughout

- Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative

- Ability to implement large scale, multi-year programs with multiple stakeholders.

- Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral

- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and stakeholders to accomplish the vision of the organization

- Understanding of the political and cultural environments of India

- Demonstrated passion for development and social impact issues (through professional experience, internships, volunteerism, coursework, or other experience)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with multiple stakeholders

- Prefer candidates with on ground experience in working with different communities

- Prefer candidates with 10 years of work experience in related fields
