AVP / DVP - Citizen Engagement (Palava City)  About the role:  Lodha Group is looking for a leader to manage citizen engagement in Palava city a 5000 acre city with planned population of 2 million and 0.5 million jobs. The citizen engagement head would be responsible for interacting with the community and running programs for citizen wellbeing across areas of community services, recreation, art, sports and health.  Responsibilities:  1. Community Services & Engagement  a. Interact with the community, identify issues and develop interventions to solve the problems  b. Build influencers/ relations within the community for the cause of social welfare for the city  c. Engaging with citizens through cultural activities and town halls etc.  d. Create and implement programs for vulnerable groups (senior citizens, differently abled, maternal and child health etc.)  e. Partner with NGOs and other organizations to work on the programs identified  2. Placemaking and social welfare  a. Conduct training and workshops for citizens on civic issues  b. Create and implement programs for cultural diversity  c. Prepare proposals and connect with funding organizations wherever required to solicit grants  d. Manage art facilities, programs and services, funding and strategic development  e. Create and run programs to promote public health and well being e.g. vaccination programs, health camps etc.  Desired Candidate Profile:  a. Masters in MSW/ public policy/ management/ Social studies  b. 10+ years of experience working with large communities on governance, social work, community development etc.
