AGM/DGM - Talent Acquisition (Preferable from top HR consultancy firms)


Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition Strategy:

a. Review market data periodically to benchmark compensation across new roles and positions in assigned departments to bring market wide parity for those positions

b. Monitor attrition levels across hires and lead process/channel modifications to ensure metrics are per accepted standards

c. Identify and evangelize new technology and channels in the recruitment space in co-ordination with the all internal and external stakeholders to bring continuing efficiency to the organization's hiring processes

2. Stakeholder Management:

a. Lead engagements with the business heads to understand the annual operating plan and other business needs and devise the overall recruitment strategy for the assigned departments and manage any escalations emerging within the team during their discussions with the business

b. Spearhead the initiatives on updation of systems and processes to increase the efficiency of activities like sourcing, on-boarding, assimilation etc. and ensure an increasingly thorough and convenient recruitment process for all relevant stakeholders

c. Provide technical inputs for the recruitment process such as relevant channels, profiles etc. to business heads on a need to need basis

d. Review the hiring timelines prepared for all assigned departments and ensure all contingencies are incorporated into these schedules

e. Engage with senior hires at regular intervals to ensure comprehensive new joiner experience for senior recruits

3. Recruitment Process:

a. Conduct interviews for senior job roles across assigned departments and ensure smooth pre and post joining experience for all selected candidates

b. Ensure that the business requirement and the job description behind every senior hire are clearly understood before the hiring process begins

c. Ensure that open positions across all assigned departments are closed within the stipulated cost and time by maintaining a healthy source mix balance across various sourcing channels

d. Responsible for recruitment to senior job roles coordinating with channel partners on sourcing profiles, screening candidates, conducting interviews and finalizing CTC and grade fitment after relevant discussions with other stakeholders

e. Lead the internal employee referral campaigns within assigned departments in co-ordination with team to address specific resourcing needs

f. Drive and manage special recruitment efforts including overseas recruitments across various departments within the company

4. Internal Mobility:

a. Lead the internal mobility operations by engaging in conversations with the top management and encourage one to one conversations with associates across sites to ensure stakeholder sensitivities are respected

5. Team Management:

a. Ensure adherence of team members to organization's recruitment policies and processes by providing relevant guidance at all times

b. Manage work assignment among team members basis periodic peaks and troughs in the recruitment process

6. Data & Vendor Management:

a. Review the TA MIS system at regular intervals and ensure data consistency for all concerned recruitments

b. Drive engagement with recruitment partners, sourcing partners and executive search firms to ensure proper co-ordination during sourcing

c. Review recruitment data to move away from unsuitable recruitment vendors to ensure efficiency in the recruitment process
