There are over 250 Million commercial vehicles in emerging markets growing at 10% year-on-year. No more than 30% of them have any sort of fleet technology that helps commercial vehicle owners and operators track and control their operations.

Fleet-tech helps increase safety and efficiency - leading to more profit per vehicle - which also contributes to positively impacting climate sustainability.

While a multi-billion dollar industry in developed markets, most fleet owners and operators in emerging markets have limited access to any form of advanced and reliable fleet tech that they can afford.

LocoNav Inc. wants to disrupt this.

Our vision is to democratize access to fleet technology for all commercial vehicles in emerging markets.

Title: Lead - Research, Insights & Content Marketing

Role Summary:

LocoNav is growing exponentially and we are looking for an individual who can drive the delivery of thought leading research that supports our brand and content marketing worldwide.

The individual must be able to research the content for our Organic Channels & SEO development and have a qualitative understanding of suspects and prospects and be able to track and report the competitive communication for marketing teams.

Responsibilities :

- Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis of technology, market trends and competitive landscape to highlight improvements, growth opportunities and new markets.

- Excellence in consumer insights, analytics, segmentation and market research in the backdrop of understanding business and company objectives,

- Best practice consumer insights activities and that projects supporting business decisions are based on consumer objectives.

- Anticipating and identifying consumer insight information needs, both collaboratively with internal business partners and proactively based on knowledge of markets and products.

- Discussion with the product and marketing functions the market/consumer research projects and develop the consumer market research plan.

- Design and conduct of all primary consumer research/insights for specific business Brands.

- Provide market and customer insights to support the marketing team with recommendations based on primary and secondary market research studies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 8-12 years of experience of research and research techniques is a MUST

- Must be willing to take on content marketing.

- Must have experience doing research in markets outside of India.

- Stellar powerpoint presentation design & communication skills.

- A Self-starter. Hands on with the attitude to get things done in a fast paced startup environment

- Bachelor's and/or a degree in Psychology / Consumer Behaviour is a bonus
