Locofast - Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Locofast is looking to hire a professional to lead the Finance function along with the CEO

Roles and responsibilities:

- Build, motivate and manage a strong team of finance professionals that are capable of robust growth.

- Assist company leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; review all financial plans and budgets and monitor all periodic financial reports.

- Lead ERP setup including identification and building of ERP platform for the whole company

- Lead the preparation and reporting of consolidated financial statements (Consolidation across multiple subsidiaries)

- Work with founders to regularly look for cost reduction opportunities and optimizing Working Capital

- Forge new working capital partnerships & get access to capital at competitive rates.

- Manage and monitor organizational cash flow and continuously assess the financial efficacy of operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support operations.

- Administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.

- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures to bring financial discipline.

- Lead and manage taxation, balance sheet, closing, financial statements reporting

- The person should be mature enough to handle the F&A work as well as be an advisor to the Founders in all minor & major decisions

- Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

IDEAL Profile :

- Highly analytical and data-driven, but also have a passion for creativity and forward-thinking flair - Result oriented and good project management

- Team player and excellent communication skills to work with team members across functions

- Self-motivator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience : 5 - 8 Years of experience in a controllership role in Revenue Center eco systems with atleast 2-3 years of experience with early-stage startup ( Mandatory) experience

- Should have previously led controllership function and have been exposed to consolidation and business acquisition process in a mid-size company.

- Managed a P&L profitably / efficiently in a low margin category for at least some period of time

- Setup internal systems and processes and a high quality lean finance team

- Preferred Domain exposure: Any experience in working in VC backed start- ups, internet/tech companies, retail companies and/or fund raising would have a definite advantage
