Location Expert - Six Sigma/Lean Trainer - Mfg

We are looking for Six Sigma and Lean Trainer and training coordinator for a manufacturing MNC in Hyderabad.

- Assists the location management team in the implementation of business improvement plans and goals through the use of the System as the basis for improvements at the location.

- Combines the Quality Management System, Six Sigma, Lean, and related improvement tools into a cohesive effort. Initiates and tracks improvement projects, assuring that they are aligned with current business needs.

- Coordinates project improvement activities within the Production location, receiving guidance from the Location Management Team, Regional Business Improvement Champion, and the system deployment team.

- Leads and facilitates training sessions, serves as a certified Trainer and Facilitator for system, conducts training and assessments, and provides coaching to the location management team and employees on system and business improvement issues.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Assists and coordinates the deployment of system:

- Coordinates and leads system communication at the site.

- Organizes and schedules system meetings

- Coordinates interviews, focus groups, and other system meetings with the system Mindsets and behavior Expert/Coach

- Networks with the location management team on system deployment

- Assists or leads system improvements

Coordinates and maintains the system business improvement process:

- Becomes a certified Trainer and Facilitator for system

- Coordinates the Site Steering Committee (SSC) and the Implementation Task Force (ITF) workshops and activities

- Leads or assists in implementation of system foundational or pillar practices

- Assures Implementation Actions and Stop and Thinks are implemented per projected dates

- Networks with the Safety Coordinator as needed to ensure process improvement efforts support safety goals

Provides coaching to location management team on business/process improvement efforts:

- Assesses internal environment for actions and behaviors that support or deviate from stated goals

- Identifies the impact of behaviors and plans on location objectives

- Provides suggestions and guidance on an appropriate path forward or recommends appropriate resources to provide guidance

- Schedules periodic feedback sessions with management team members

Facilitate and coordinates plant level training relative to use of business improvement tools and System modules:

- Partners with system Master Trainers in the development, implementation, maintenance, and delivery of training

- Leads location level training course on specific improvement tools

- Leads overview sessions on the use of improvement tools for new employees

- Assists in the training and skill building of other System Location Experts

Facilitates and coordinates the project generation and prioritization process:

- Maintains a solid awareness of Location’s business plans and goals

- Assists Location Management Team in identifying business improvement opportunities

- Assists, if necessary, the Location Management Team on selection and utilization of tools to prioritize business improvement projects

- Quantifies and reports to management the impact that improvement activities are having on business goals and system assessments

- Maintains and expands business improvement skills (i- DMAIC, Lean, Workout)

Coordinates the improvement project portfolio for the location in conjunction with enterprise or business unit business improvement resources:

- Maintains awareness of the status of process improvement efforts within other Production locations.

- Networks with other SYSTEM Location experts and with enterprise or business unit business improvement resources to identify additional needs for project work and sharing of best practices.
