The Company is seeking a professional who can help lead Ocwen's continued success related to being the leader in loan resolution processing and underwriting dept. The candidate will be responsible for the operational and management responsibilities for their teams. The candidate will play a key role in the coaching and development of approximately 2-3 Team Leads and 30-50 underwriters and processors. The candidate will have daily interaction with their team members in addition to the complete servicing management team. Focus areas will include utilization of Ocwen's technology tools, and loss mitigation experience to achieve top results in volume of resolutions, reduction in variability and high quality scores. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Loan Resolution Processing and Underwriting

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a working knowledge of all current mortgage industry guidelines, federal and state laws and have the ability to interpret credit policy and investor guidelines.

- Identify improvement opportunities related to the underwriting (Government and in-house) programs and processes

- Confirm compliance to all investor and government guidelines

- Recruit, train and lead a team of offshore underwriters and associates.

- Manage the daily operations associated with underwriting and processing of residential mortgage loans.

- Develop performance metrics for each position within area of responsibility and lead staff toward exceeding stated business objectives.

- Utilize decision and reporting tools to minimize variability, improve quality and maximize profitability of the business.

- Interact effectively with senior management, other departments and customers.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of experience with at least 2 years in managing operations for US Mortgage process.

- Domain expertise in US Mortgage processing and underwriting. Direct experience as an Underwriter.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the business sense to recognize both departmental and company priorities.

- Strong analytical skills, including ability to develop reports, analyze and interpret data

- Open to working in shifts.
