Loadshare - Operations Head - IIT/NIT/BITS

We are looking for a head of operations who can take charge of the overall ops, set up processes where necessary and play a pivotal role in helping steer the company towards a 10x growth. The team comprises ex-Mckinsey, Blue dart, Free-charge folks and we are looking for a disruptor who thrives in challenges and fast-paced growth.

Role and Responsibility:

Drives overall Loadshare Network (LSN) Ops, to ensure all partners are delivering against SLAs committed, and working with partners to help them improve

Responsible for 4 areas:

a) supporting implementation team, 

b) managing ground ops in key partner locations,

c) managing line haul,

d) managing call centre

e) ensure COD collections

Manages ~50 FTEs, geographically spread out across India

Skills required:

- Track record of having managed rampup to higher scale (atleast 50000 shipments per day), building out a network from scratch

- People leadership, esp in a distributed environment

- Strong connections in various parts of India

- Highly analytical, strong problem solving skills

- Ability to manage on ground operational issues (e.g., recovery and cash collection),

- Being able to think along new systems / tech being put in place to solve ops issues

- Ability to define processes and ensure change management

Work experience:

~ 5 years in e-commerce working on supply chain in a leadership position, and in logistics in particular AND prior experience with logistics in the industry (incl B2B)

OR, distinctive candidates with ~8-10 years of logistics experience in leading supply chain companies in India

OR ~ 8-10 years of FMCG (e.g., HUL, P&G) supply chain experience (very technology driven and customer oriented and having setup things from scratch)

Educational back-ground:

- Engineering background from top tier colleges (e.g., IITs, BITS) preferred

Other personal characteristics:

- High energy, high tenacity

- Job will require frequent travel

- Ability to deal with people across levels
