(CA/MBA from Top Colleges, Logistics/E-commerce background)
Roles and Responsibilities -
- Managing the overall commercials for the partners
- Timely and effective collection of all the COD money and customer debts and managing the internal vendor score card
- Creating procedures and policies to assess the business/finance risk and mitigating them
- Reconciling complex accounts and ledgers which have been escalated
- Liaising with external stakeholders ( Vendors, and customers) as well as internal stakeholders( Ops, Legal)
- Starting legal proceeding if the debts are not paid, liaising with the insurers for claim recovery
Skills Required:
- Highly analytical, strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, regulations, taxation
- Attention to detail and diligence
- Commercial Awareness
- People leadership, esp in a distributed environment
- Ability to manage on ground issues (e.g., recovery and cash collection),
- Ability to define processes and ensure change management
- Strong communication skills
Work Experience:
- ~ 2-3 years in e-commerce (last mile Business Finance), and in logistics in particular AND prior experience with COD and recovery in the industry (incl B2B)
- Or Internal Audit Manager in a logistics company/ FMCG company
- OR, distinctive candidates with ~3-5 years of Business Finance experience in leading logistics companies in India
- OR 5-10 years of experience in Finance, Risk Assurance & Compliance
Education:
- CA Qualified
- MBA Finance from a Tier 2 college

- Job will require frequent travel for branch /franchisee audit
- Loves to take control in ambiguous situations, very high ownership
- Ability to deal with people across levels
