Role Brief:
As a Business Finance Controller, you will be an acting CFO- Controller of a Business unit. Your role is very critical to the organization as you will be driving and identifying the gaps in the P&L of a Business unit basically directly impacting the organization revenue and growth. Developing a mechanism to understand the cash inflow and outflow and delivering ways to manage and control it effectively
Key Responsbility:
- To work closely with the business unit and actively participate in its operations and management
- Controlling overall AP and AR for the business unit ensuing that payments to partners are made on time and improving efficiency around billing faster to client
- Creating and implementing ERP implementation to provide transparency on Partner Payments and controlling DPO
- Periodically review with business team to control DSO and improvising speed of collecting dues from clients
- To review the plans vs actuals on regular basis; in depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionable
- To track and measure key financials and business metrics
- Completes account level month-end closing reviews, procedures, and corrections as needed
- Conduct periodic meetings with direct reports to assure staff understand assigned tasks and can manage time constraints
- Handle Adhoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time and supplement such requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making
Qualification & Experience:
- 6 years Exp, Chartered Accountant or Post-Graduate in Finance
- Should hold 4+ years of experience in Controllership function
- Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proactive takes initiative, self-motivated, team player
- Strong collaboration, stake holder management and interpersonal skills
