Foods has built a clinically tested FMCG Food product line that can revolutionize the problem of Diabetes management and reversal in India. We are looking for a Business Head - Diabetes category to join the Leadership team at Lo! Foods. The Business head will be responsible to scale this Product range and make it the largest Consumer brand in this category along with being the most recommended brand by Diabetologists and Nutritionists. Roles & Responsibilities: Revenue and P&L - Responsible for creating a strategic and tactical plan to meet the revenue goals set for the category over 24 months. - Tracking and achieving the Revenue goals for the category as per plan, on a monthly basis. - Owning the entire P&L to ensure the category is built out sustainably with a path to profitability with scale. Clinical Research based R&D - Help create an extensive and Clinical research program; that creates a viable and cost effective Diabetes Reversal Protocol using Food Products. - Work with the R&D and Product Development team to improve existing food products efficacy, and work on New Product development. - Work with the R&D and Production team to identify Patentable IPs, and work to get the same. Brand Building - Work with the Diabetes Business and Clinical Team to drive Brand Building among Doctors, Hospitals and Chains; to make Lo! Foods the brand of choice within the Practitioner community. - Build out Lo! Foods as a thought leader among Journalists and media outlets w.r.t Diabetes Food Products. - Build out a community of Consumers, who can help build adoption quickly in the market. Category Building - Creating and developing a strategic long term plan for the development of the overall Diabetes Specialist Food Products category in India - Work with Doctors, Hospitals and Chains to create awareness and need for recommending Diabetes Specialist Food Products and make Lo! Foods the brand of choice within the Practitioner community. - Build out Lo! Foods as a thought leader among Diabetes and Diabetes Reversal related conversations. Strategic Initiatives - Working closely with the Founder and other members of the Leadership team on Strategic Initiatives for the organization. - Participate in the Fund Raising process and help build out a business case for investments. Team Building and Mentoring - Building out an effective team for the Diabetes Category to achieve the category goals - Revenue, Brand Building and Impact. - As part of the Leadership team, provide mentoring and guidance to cross-functional team members. Qualifications: - Bachelors, with a preference for MBA candidates. - 10+ years of overall Work experience. - Having the Experience below is necessary. - Direct Sales roles of 3+ years, with a team of Sales executives reporting in. - Sales with the Pharma Sales Channel. - Experience with a product line that is related to the Diabetes Segment directly. - Institutional Sales experience with Hospitals, Doctors and Nutritionists; - Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and recognition within the organization for the same. - Brand Management. - Ownership of P&L Having the experiences below is a plus: - ECommerce and Online Marketplaces revenue and category management.
