Who we are?


Funded by Matrix Partners & CRED, LiquiLoans (LL) is an RBI registered NBFC. The company is founded by entrepreneurs who previously co-founded a successful rental platform "RentoMojo''.

Our goal is to allow borrowers to get faster loans and at cheaper interest rates and enable every investor to give loans to these creditworthy individuals in a safe and legal manner. We intend to build a dynamic, completely tech - enabled loan exchange marketplace where individuals can lend money to other individuals within minutes.

We are the largest P2P Fintech platform in the country. We are also one of the few Fintechs to be profitable and currently valued at USD 200 million, with monthly disbursals of around INR 400 cr.

Job Description - AVP - Entrepreneur In Residence

Purpose of the Role : The strategy team identifies strategic focus areas and influences strategic and operational decisions for the company. The team works directly with CXO and senior business leaders. The team collaborates with leaders across functions to ensure seamless execution of recommended strategic initiatives.

Skills & Experience we are looking for :

1. Ability to juggle between multiple tasks, with attention to detail without losing focus and being extremely organized.

2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipate issues, stay calm under pressure, ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity

3. Adapt seamlessly to changing workloads and priorities, adept at working independently with minimal support.

4. Develop high-quality materials and align with various cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring consistent follow-through, Ownership and accountability.

5. Outline strategic choices and develop fact-backed solution themes/ recommendations

6. Proactive and hands-on, with strong business acumen and drive and determination to succeed.

7. Willing to challenge current methods of work and to then identify, recommend and implement practical improvements

8. Can decode open ended problem statements by breaking them down into smaller deliverables and milestones basis impact assessment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. This unit is an internal consulting unit with every responsibility being a project. The individual should be able to project manage through the journey of the project i.e. ideation to execution and having a strategic focus and mindset towards identifying the clear problem statements and solving for gaps.

2. The nature of the role entails working on open ended problem statements which can directly impact revenue or cost of the company to solve for people, process, technology or strategic gaps

3. Having a structured framework driven approach towards problem solving and project management

4. Take up the ownership of leading any project end to end. The type of projects can vary from -

a. Setting up a new business vertical

b. Identifying the strategic direction of scale for an existing business vertical

c. GTM into new markets or new products

d. Conducting monthly reviews with department heads, identifying the gaps to the annual operating plan, solving for gaps at a departmental level

e. Enhancing company level efficiency through process efficiency audits or employee efficiency audits

5. Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to unify efforts towards the company's success. Demonstrate versatility in undertaking cross-functional roles as needed, contributing to various operational, strategic, and revenue areas to propel the company forward.

6. Aiding in scenario planning, risk management, analysis around new regions, services, entry strategies, value proposition analysis, competition analysis and go to market strategy as other key imperatives.
