Liquidity Reporting/Regulatory Reporting Role - ENO - BFS

Please find JD for LCR within Liquidity Management team with a leading MNC.

Liquidity Measurement and Reporting team in the CoE in Pune prepares regulatory liquidity reports as mandated by various regulators in the regions that Credit Suisse conducts business. We offer the incumbent a very challenging role that would require the incumbent to have business insight, product understanding, liaise regularly with treasury, execute and review LCR & other related reports along with the added responsibility of managing upcoming transitions.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Delivery of daily regulatory liquidity reports to regulators on a timely and accurate manner.

- Reviewing of all regulatory information and ensuring timely escalation of data availability and data quality within prescribed deadlines.

- Ensuring accurate and timely adjustment of regulatory data.

- Ensuring closure of all issues uncovered in a daily regulatory reporting cycle by liaising with Treasury, MIS and regional liquidity teams prior to submission to the regulator within prescribed deadlines.

- Use of all Regulatory systems including Axiom.

- Ensuring regulatory filings reconcile to the books and records of the firm.

- Ownership of open audit and control points and ensuring closure within deadline.

- Ensuring adequate capacity at all times for a daily regulatory reporting cycle

- Conducting daily meetings with the treasury, business and other contacts to confirm liquidity analysis, follow up on queries for timely investigation and resolution prior to the submission deadline.

- Identifying and raising defects to IT and Change Management for resolution and conducting UAT tests before deployment to the Production Environment.

- Lead, manage and coach a team of analysts and ensure seamless delivery while maintaining focus in improving their knowledge and skills required for the role.

- Maintaining excellent working relationship between regional and CoE teams.

- Delivery of improvements and efficiencies across all entities for both internal and external reporting requirements

- Lead and manage quality and process improvement initiatives with an objective to simplify processes, reduce duplication of effort and improve efficiencies

- Ownership of a robust control environment including review checklists

PERSON SPECIFICATION

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Desirable

Post graduate / Professional Qualification in Finance, Banking, Business or a CA

Essential skills / Qualification

- 5-8 years post qualification experience in a Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting role.

- Experience in working in financial institutions, banks at senior level.

- Liquidity/ALM experience

- Experience in Treasury function of a Global Bank

Knowledge of Investment/Private banking products

- Good front-to-back cross functional process knowledge within an investment bank.

- PeopleSoft Financial

- Understanding of US GAAP & IFRS accounting standards

- Product Control experience
