MSL Role : 

The growth in Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) is being driven by the need to communicate increasingly complex scientific information. MSL acts as a scientific partner for healthcare stakeholders. MSLs provide a credible link to external stakeholders to act as a demand generator, helping bridge the communication between clinical development and commercial success. The key to productive MSL deployment is to ensure that the MSL the team is engaged in legitimate medical projects and is able to execute these projects in a compliant way of providing high-quality support for all stakeholders.

Job Description :

Medical Science Liaison will be a team member who supports the development and execution of the medical strategy, as a part of the brand integrated strategy which ensures better results for patients by being timely diagnosed and treated, becoming the preferred choice of our stakeholders, supporting access through customer-centricity.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establish professional relationships; build advocacy and scientific partnerships with KOLs/ decision-makers, through regular field-based interactions.

- Ideate, project, develop and deliver innovative scientific activities for Key Opinion Leaders, to help drive genetic diagnostic screening.

- Active participation in the generation of comprehensive, articulated, and impactful programs, including education, scientific communication, evidence generation tactics, and customer internal and external collaboration.

- Deliver unbiased and accurate scientific and clinical presentations to HCPs/KOLs, individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.), when requested.

- Active participation in KOL management by which Lilac Insights would wish to engage in collaborative efforts - such as potential research collaborations, or lecture/meeting support (Round Tables, Congresses, Symposia, etc.); and to ensure a high level of scientific or educational integrity in these collaborative efforts.

- Gather medical insights and support the translation of those into Development and Commercial product strategy. Evaluate the impact of competitive information to share internally and externally as post-meeting deliverables.

- Act as an educational resource to internal stakeholders

- Support the sales force and other departments with medical science information (e.g., disease and treatment) and training

- Act as a subject matter expert for external clinical/scientific stakeholders

- Comply with all external regulations and internal policies
