The position involves managing facility with plastic moulding, metal welding, surface finishing and assembly.  - Be responsible for ensuring production in the plant as per specified production schedule. Make monthly manufacturing plan and ensure adherence to the same.   - Coordination with SCM, production team, in process quality and incoming quality to ensure that daily targets are met.   - Production cost control through effective utilization of resources and low rejection rate.   - Capture production losses and make contingency plans to overcome them.   - Ensure product and process quality as per customer defined guidelines.   - Monitor and review daily and monthly production progress.   - Implement systems such as ISO, TPM, 5S and Kaizen.   - Inbound supply chain to include vendor management to ensure adequate supply of raw material as per production plan.   - Manage outbound dispatch to ensure finished product is dispatched as per timelines.   Qualification and Experience: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical), 7-12 years experience in managing operations in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
