Area HR Manager-East Region
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Region HR Operations
- Adhere to the HR SOPs in line with the corporate HR guidelines.
- Prepare annual employee manpower and welfare budgets with inputs from the business managers and regional heads and Corporate HR. Obtain approval, allocate store-wise and track optimal utilization of the same.
- Consolidate and provide a monthly analysis of Headcount, employee cost, attrition and engagement activities for the region to the Business Head and to Corporate HR
- Ensure accurate employment records
- Conduct timely HR audit and ensure complete adherence of the SOPs
- Proactively resolve IR issues with the Unions ensuring no adverse impact on business operations
- Ensure timely and accurate salary inputs including monthly incentives and full and final settlements for payroll administration
Talent Acquisition:
- Ensure adherence to the recruitment SOPs
- Plan, drive and achieve recruitment targets within the allocated budget as per the Manning model.
- Manage the resource pool from the educational institutes, NGOs, and industry contacts to improve the efficiency of the various channels of recruitment
- Drive the IJP and Referral Program at the region
Statutory Compliance and Workplace Services:
- Maintain registers and statuettes as per regulations and ensure timely statutory payments. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with the state and central labor laws.
- Provide corporate HR with timely reports on statutory compliance.
- Implement cost control measures to monitor the Admin. cost and ensure zero downtime for all office equipment/facilities at the regional office.
- Maintain cordial relations with government agencies and statutory consultants - Coordinate with internal/external auditors for employment records.
Talent Management:
- Ensure implementation of induction programs across the region for effective integration of new hires
- Drive employee surveys and feedback initiated by Corporate HR
- Implement, drive and track the employee engagement initiatives at the stores (Rewards and recognition and other activities as per the Engagement calendar)
- Analyze the reasons for attrition and address the same across the region.
- Address grievances and ensure timely and effective redressal of the same as per the corporate guidelines.
- Drive the Performance Management System, monitor the process ensuring its effectiveness and adherence to timelines
People Management:
- Scale up and prepare the regional HR team to meet business requirements for growth and expansion
- Drive performance standards in the region as per the competency framework
- Build, coach, develop and motivate the team to meet and exceed performance expectations
