Lifelong Online - Associate Manager - Sourcing (2-3 yrs)

Role : Associate Sourcing Manager

Location : Gurgaon

Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the sourcing of products from Indian and China factories - should be a people's person

- Negotiating best prices and favourable payment terms to the company

- Analyze and determine cost reduction opportunities by leveraging volumes, optimizing the supplier base and reducing total cost of ownership.

- Create and execute strategic sourcing plans that will support the teams- development of an end-to-end sourcing plan for new categories/expansions.

- Driving end to end process from sampling, production follow-up, shipments

- Working with cross-functional teams and category managers to drive creation and improvement in sourcing plans

- Dealing with various vendors- merchandising activities like calculating trims / raw material, costing of product.

- Accurately forecasting trends, planning stock and monitoring performance.

Skills & Qualification :

- 2+ years- experience. Engineering/Supply Chain or Business Graduates

- Prior experience in sourcing sourcing or procurement, supplier management, and driving supply chain improvements, prior expertise in International Sourcing would be preferred

- Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay process

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills & Negotiation Skills

- Self-starter, problem solver to identify process gaps and trouble shoot them

- Ability to execute in rapid growth and fast paced environment - ability to work with ambiguity in a start-up environment.
