Our client is a leading life-skills training Edu-tech startup that helps students face adulthood by feeding them information, helping them mould their behaviors and guiding them towards making informed choices through in-depth exposure to the various career options available to them after they complete their schooling.

The company currently works with students from class 6 onwards, and it has a systematic program through which a student undergoes 6 years of inputs around life-skills, personality development, communication skills enhancement and an exposure to careers across the spectrum to help them make informed choices.

Their fundamental approach is to make use of technology and data to not only enhance the quality of trainings delivered but also help them improve the learning process, the training delivery, and track and assess progress of the child. They have developed an in-house tablet based tool that allows trainers to more effectively facilitate activities during the classroom training sessions.

Today, they run their career program for students across 15 states in the country. They have worked with over 50,000 students in classroom settings, individually and remotely! The current clientele includes some of the most prestigious schools in the country including: The Doon School, Lawrence School Sanawar, Sishya School Chennai, NPS Bangalore etc. They service close to 100 schools in 17 states pan-India.

As the Life Skills Trainer and Coach, your key responsibilities will include:

- Conduct training workshops designed to equip students with critical life skills around communication skills, assertiveness and goal clarity

- To not only deliver classroom training sessions but to guide students to make a better informed career choice.

- Help students set realistic career goals and develop a plan to achieve them

- Evaluate students abilities and interests through aptitude assessments, psychometric testing, and individual planning

- Ensuring satisfaction of the schools, parents and children on the workshops delivered.

- Building and developing a team of trainers

- Participating in the development of effective content both digital and traditional

- Play an integral role in the digitization drive of the firm and help create a technology backbone for the future expansion of the company.

- The role requires extensive travelling to schools across the country to conduct life skills and career planning workshops.

- You will get to see the country and make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of students across the country in helping them to resolve their confusions about their future career choices and giving them goal clarity

Candidate Profile:

- Excellent communication skills.

- Comfortable with public speaking, either as a part of extracurricular activities or as a part of the current job

- Should be comfortable in communicating, interacting with and mentoring students individually and in a group

- Have a strong and positive value system.

- Should be open to travelling 10-15 days in a month across India for one day to 4-5 day long trips.

- Should be willing to work tight deadlines and in a team

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Annual CTC: Rupees 8,00,000 to 13,00,000
