QA Project Manager - Quality and Food Safety Job Description: POSITION: Sr. Manager/Manager -QA Process SPECIFIC ROLE: Quality and Food Safety Management in Food Chain Specific Areas of Accountability: - Supervise &amp; guide the entire process crew towards process/product compliance and customer delight. - Assure the reliability and consistency of production activities and timely reporting of any deviation. - Developing and implementing the Quality &amp; Food Safety Management programme to ensure that it meets business requirements, regulatory requirements and end product /service deliverables in the manufacturing facility. - Support production &amp; maintenance team towards process excellence. - Support &amp; involve in new product development activities. - Apprising management about the new Quality Standards applicable to specific products, if any, further requirements to improve on it, updates, - Periodic facility audits, noncompliance closure and reporting as per assurance plan. - Monthly MIS on QFS @ manufacturing facility. - Laboratory management- GLP Implementation. - Positive QA release of finished products. - Ensure legal compliance as per FSSAI. - FSTL for HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 or relevant certification General Accountability: - Involvement in QMS-FSMS development, implementation &amp; maintenance across the operations. - Involvement &amp; contribution in all activities towards customer delight. Required Qualifications/Experience/Skills Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate in any life science stream/food technology and /or related fields. Experience - 8-12 yrs. in reputed Food manufacturing /Retail/ related industry- Exposure to frozen /refrigerated products/meat &amp; seafood, spices, condiments/food packing materials. - Skills Technical Know - how- Well versed/Exposure in HACCP, FSMS, NABL,QC tools like 5S, 6 sigma etc. - Awareness in food spoilage and &amp; hand-on experience in spoilage analyses (Chemical/Physical/Biological), food safety regulatory requirements, and industrial best practices. - Internal/external auditing experiences. - Project management &amp; basic computer skills.
