Revenue : - Work closely with the growth team on assessing the efficiency and ROI of digital marketing campaigns, brand spends and other marketing activities - Work closely with the category team on pricing strategy, discounting, business scenarios that might have an impact on the gross and net margins - Support the revenue team in creating financial models around customer metrics, category performance and overall companys performance using a detailed bottom up approach Operations and sourcing : - Develop a deep understanding of all the cost drivers and key metrics that are tracked by the Operations team - Do an independent study to determine the standard for all the operational costs and key metrics in the organization. Assess the frequency of revision of the defined standards - Work closely with the operations team on achieving the defined standards for all the metrics and costs - Develop deep understanding of the sourcing strategy of the Company, identify the metrics that should be used to measure the performance of the sourcing team and enable daily tracking of these metrics - Enable the operations team in regular tracking of all the metrics by creating daily dashboards - Support the operations team in creating financial models around operating costs at different levels of revenue using a detailed bottom up approach Budgeting and planning : - Create Annual Operating Plans for the company using a detailed bottom up approach to arrive at all the key metrics, cost drivers and the budgeted results - Track the performance of the Annual operating plan on a regular basis with the actual results, do a detailed variance analysis and provide detailed commentary to the management on the variances - Work closely with the business teams in achieving the targets / budget set in the Annual operating plan - Revision of Annual operating plan at different frequencies to incorporate the recent changes in the business, if any Reporting : - Work closely with the accounting team in preparing monthly MIS reports with detailed insights on the business performance - Publish daily/weekly/fortnightly management reports related to revenue, contribution margins, operational performance, and key metrics etc. - Work on ad-hoc data analysis requests from the management Desired qualification : - You are an MBA graduate from a Tier-1 business school (IIM-A/B/C/L, ISB, MDI), CA+MBA an added advantage - Have at least 4 years of experience in FP&A or a business finance role in a B2C set up - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
