- Manage overall vendor/partner portofolio for the category. - Supplier relationship management - Contract Management - Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company. - Implementation of Joint Business Plan with Partners - Ensuring 100% availability on a Pan India level (OTIF) - De-risk Vendor portfolio City wise - New Supplier Identification - Vendor/Partner Development - Drive Price advantage objective - Liase with the marketing team to help introduce new SKUs in the category. - Build long term Contracts with strategic suppliers - Keep a close tab on developments in the category - Providing solutions for backward integration &amp; such opportunities - Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes. - Identifying and mapping events and seosonalities that impact sourcing and device strategies to migigate losses - Working with FPOs and other support groups / Govt to take advantage of Govt Schemes in order to drive Company's objectives
