Licious- Procurement Assistant Manager - Hyderabad Job description : - The role of Assistant Manager Procurement at Licious is primarily to support the ongoing growth and profitability of the Meat business through Transactional Sourcing (includes domestic operations across INDIA), bringing significant improvement in vendor relationship to improve speed to market, Building market intelligence and driving cost effectiveness . - This position need to collaborate with NPD( new product development), Quality Team, Planning sales and Regulatory team to ensure quick turnaround time to market. - This position also demands hands-on experience in setting up systems & processes for smooth & transparent functioning of entire supply chain modules. - One of the important KRAs will be to ensure Meat material inward timings at Licious Processing Centers( i.e on time in full, OTIFs) Responsibilities : - Develop procurement strategies focused on MIP (Margin Improvement Plan) - Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, suggest cost effective alternatives, drive efficiencies /quality improvements, ensure price & supply risk mitigation & explore opportunities through analytics - industry/price/supply trends and shifts in technology - Coordinate across various stakeholders Internal Quality Team, NPD, regulatory, plant, finance, sales and External ; vendors, suppliers, C&F's, etc., as required to ensure smooth operations - Effective working capital management to ensure improved efficiency in over all working capital utilization - Implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions - Ensures appropriate and most cost effective negotiation with suppliers, traders , transporters and enter in to contractual agreements/ARC with strategic suppliers - Build market intelligence for commodities to suggest 'long', 'short' positions - Demonstrate effective leadership for the department, including, but not limited to, performance management and future team development. - Ensure all compliances basis specifications, FSSAI norms & regulatory requirements Objectives & deliverables of the Role : A. Functional : - Align to Licious Procurement Policy based on the sourcing manual - Provide Procurement trends, reports and information to Procurement Director for taking strategic decisions - Adherence to OTIF( On time in full ) delivery targets on raw material - Ensure competitive advantage on RM & logistics through efficient negotiation - Demonstrate cost reduction & quality improvement initiatives in Meat procurement function - Maintain all purchase, storage and deliveries in line with Licious's Quality & Food safety management standards - Partner with IT team to continually develop spend analytics capabilities - Responsible for building and managing Global Procurement dashboards including savings tracker, diversity reporting, B. Leadership : - Performance Management within the function including annual goal setting, periodic reviews, course correction and feedback - Driving business profitability by setting internal targets of COGS to % of NSV C. Analytical : - Analytics on market intelligence to facilitate decision making support to Head of Procurement Cost modelling skills Qualifications : - Graduation with MBA or equivalent professional qualification in supply chain with 4 + Years - 2 + years experience in procurement in Meat will be preferred - Negotiation, Planning & Organization, Project Management, Problem Solving, Dispute Resolution,
