PURPOSE OF ROLE : - Responsible for planning and delivering Revenue (volume and value), credit and contribution margins for market within planned costs. - Drive customer acquisition, retention, wallet share and overall buying experience. - Develop market intelligence to aid Head Office (HO) in identifying new sources of growth (customer / product / pricing / service), creating the ideal portfolio mix and right pricing to drive profitability. - Enhance overall customer experience to achieve the Best Supplier status PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : - Drive GMV and Revenue growth by ensuring delighted customer experience. - Plan and deliver Revenue targets for the city (s). Drive sales team toward achieving volume, value and contribution margin targets. - Monitor and report price competitiveness w.r.t. distributors / wholesalers; online competition and wet market. - Provide feedback to HO team on market share growth opportunities/issues. Design and implement market relevant Customer inputs post approval. - Identify and share key portfolio gaps. - Aid Supply team in maintaining right inventory and ensure wastages within the agreed tolerances. - Ensure optimal credit extension to customers and credit rotation within planned debtor days. Drive sales team to achieve zero bad debt. - Customer acquisition and retention - Drive customer acquisition as per identified norms. - Monitor and impact key customer measures like wallet share, Frequency of ordering, Average bill value, Customer dormancy etc. - Drive organic buying (Customer self-ordering on the app) utilising the Sales team in training customers. - Monitor and improve customer retention by capturing Customer experience and problems, collaborating with stakeholders from other functions in solving customer issues etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3 - 5 years' experience in FMCG sales. Preferable experience in Horeca / Grocery channels in FMCG (Food products) / Meat industry - Candidate from Tier 1 Management Institutes OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION : - DIRECT REPORTS - Lead a group of Team Leader and Salesmen in a Metro. Candidate may also have to manage adjoining town(s). - COORDINATION WITH - Supply, Operations, Quality, Logistics.
