Liaisoning Head - Government Relations - Shipping Business

Government relations position

- We are looking at having a government relations position where we are open to either recruit on the rolls of the company or a consultant arrangement.

- The applicant should have had relevant experience in the below-mentioned areas.

- The incumbent has to build and manage relationships with the Maharashtra state government land or revenue ministry, municipality corporations like BMC, town planning department (locations - Mumbai/Lonavala/Alibag), and state authorities like the Mumbai police to resolve corporate matters

- The incumbent has to also help meet the personal requirements of the company's directors where a government stakeholder's permission or intervention is sought.

Key responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with the above government bodies.

- Facilitate networking and relationship building formally and informally.

- Focus on relationships with the police, municipal corporations, and politicians. Matters could range from parking lot permits to property-related issues, etc.

Company Details : The company has two main businesses: Shipping and offshore. The shipping business is involved in the transportation of crude oil, petroleum products, gas, and dry bulk commodities. The offshore business services to the oil companies in carrying out offshore exploration and production activities, through its subsidiary.
