Core Responsibilities:
- New products sourcing through domestic & international sources including In-licensing / CMO
- New business development in India through business collaborations including out-licensing
- International business development outside Indian territory
Specific Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry and making business road-map.
- Execute and implement the business road-map along with inter-departmental team members.
- Conduct product portfolio management to identify new products, its sources and possible collaborative ways to launch these identified products quickly in the market.
- Negotiate and establish licensing agreements favorably, in terms of collaborations and partnerships of strategic importance.
- To manage post contract activities and ad hoc requirements.
- To provide support in following up with post contract execution, day to day requests and communications.
- Be a contributing member of BD&L team by preserving team environment conducive to optimal performance.
- Identify, evaluate/analyze, recommend, negotiate and communicate new business opportunities with management.
- Build relationships with industry groups, customers and suppliers in India.
- Work with the HQ team for international marketing and identifying, screening, soliciting and developing high potential opportunities in countries outside India territory.
- Facilitate senior management briefings on business development opportunities.
- Co-ordinate for any Head Quarters projects for India or other territories.
