Levrara Consulting - Operational Risk Management Role (8-13 yrs)

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

As the second line of defense, ensure the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Program by the Business in India. The individual will lead the RCSA program and other operational risk related activities for India

- Working independently and under limited supervision, monitors RCSA activities at multiple business area levels, identifies gaps and tracks gaps until effectively remediated.

- Conduct training on the RCSA process to key stakeholders, including Senior leaders and Critical Stakeholders.

- Actively assist and in some cases help the "first line of defense" to identify and analyze all other types of risks affecting GBS, in creating risk metrics and in designing mitigation solutions. In some cases be capable of providing solid guidance on mitigation solutions.

- Challenge the business regarding risks that are identified to ensure they are adequately documented and quantified, and that mitigation is adequate to get the residual risk within risk appetite. Escalate when risks do exceed risk appetite.

- Create executive level written and metric based reports and dashboards to highlight key operational risk as well as any issues, incidents, trends and potential impacts.

- Assist in defining Key Risk Indicators for the supported business unit.

- Monitor compliance with the supplier risk standards across India or a specific line of business. Create and deliver adherence and risk reports to management

- Create and maintain India Operational Risk Dashboards/Metrics and Adherence Summaries

- Ensure risks and issues are properly documented in the GRC tool.

Operational Risk Management covers a large range of risk drivers that may arise due to various incidents of non compliance with Risk Management policies and standards leads to Business Interruptions, Reputational losses, regulatory impacts, potential threats to the safety of our employees, etc. hence it is a very complex area of operation. Very Quick decisions need to be made around risk levels and control effectiveness and mitigation strategies in conjunction with Corporate and GBS India Management and Staff.
