Letz Dream Foundation (LDF) invests in social entrepreneurs working at the intersection of tech, policy, and social impact. With a focus on creating deep, irreversible impact, LDF also works directly with the government to ensure effective public service delivery and improve governance. We are a small, mission-driven, high impact, high-energy team with diverse backgrounds. Over the next few years, we plan to significantly increase our giving with a venture-philanthropy approach to our social investments. About the Role We are looking to hire a Communications manager to help us share more about our work as we move into the next phase of our growth. In this role, you will lead all aspects of communications for us. Your responsibilities would include: - Help shape and execute our communications strategy across all channels (website, blogs, social media, print, etc) - Develop an understanding of our key audiences and communications priorities, and proactively seek out ways to help us achieve our goals. - Work closely with partner agencies to produce and manage content that shares the thinking that goes behind our investments - Turning internal writeups and findings into external facing communication material. - Ensuring LDF's brand remains consistent across all channels of communications. About You We would like to talk to you if you: - Are able to write clearly on our social impact programs and investments. - Can produce high quality content and have a mastery of communications tools - Have good instincts for how varied audiences are likely to perceive our message. The problems we are trying to solve are complex and multi-layered. You should be able to help us communicate our work with nuance. - Have a solid understanding of LDF's ideas of effective altruism. - Can represent LDF externally with a wide range of stakeholders. - Are comfortable with quantitative reasoning to translate and customize the impact of our work for a variety of different audiences (govt, nonprofits, foundations, etc) - Are comfortable with and have experience working with the communication agency ecosystem in India. - Experience in the development sector would be a big plus. Previous work in media/agencies/public relations on behalf of mission-driven organizations, producing writing that adheres to a clear and calibrated style and preferably 4-5 years of experience will work well.
