Lenovo - Web Development Manager - Drupal - Motorola

Motorola is currently hiring for Web Development Manager position in Drupal, based out of Bangalore.

The incumbent should be good technically and a good team manager. Able to handle complex teams, take ownership of the project and be a single point of contact based out of India.

Job Requirements:

- Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

- Have 7+ years of experience in software development and delivery

- Have 3-5 years of experience on team using Agile/Scrum methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation and release management

- Have 2-3 years of experience leading technical design and implementation of features with scrum teams

- Experience managing larger teams (10+), conducting code reviews, providing technical mentoring, ensure proper architectural oversight, and delivering - quality code

- Collaborate with Software Test team to implement quality metrics and goals for the applications (i.e. automated testing for all new features, etc.)

- Experience building consumer-facing, multi-tier, scalable and cloud-based software solutions

- Experience with web-scale online platforms and capabilities including mobile web development

- Experience with a highly-automated DevOps environment and with the DevOps toolchain

- Experience developing with PHP and Drupal 7 (Drupal 8 experience a plus)

- Hands-on web development experience including the following technologies: Java and Javascript frameworks, jQuery, XML, JSON, web development technologies such as of HTML5, CSS, Ajax and other open source technologies

- Knowledge in distributed front end / backend systems and API design (REST)

- Ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations to stakeholders, project teams, and management

- Possesses excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Desired Skills:

- Experience with databases like MySQL, Cassandra or MongoDB

- Experience with test tools like Jmeter, Junit, Sonar, Selenium, and Gatling

- Use of Firebug or Web Developer toolkits and IDEs

- Experience with Python or Ruby a plus

- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Experience with version control software such as GitHub

- eCommerce development experience a plus

- Mobile app development experience
