Responsibilities of the position : - Develop and maintain relationship with new and existing partners and channels. - Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities and provide feedback to the organization. - Work closely with direct sales, leading the day-to-day channel sales activities in assigned region. - Meet and exceed sales target by volumes, revenue, region penetration, market share, profitability and growth. - Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all companys products with specific focus on Premium mix. Maximize sale of services. - Responsible for finding, qualifying, signing and nurturing relationships with Value Added Resellers (VARs), within an assigned territory. - Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans. Review sales progress and customer satisfaction. - Ensure that channel partners have adequate support and ongoing training/education to effectively sell the companys brand and product line. - Develop/maintain legal agreements with channel partners in line with the companys channel partner program. - Effectively maintain and keep current customer/channel partner information and sales opportunities. Others : - Retain and increase Lenovo sales volume in existing accounts - Formulate strategic territory and account plans with clear objectives, actions, and sales targets. - Drive incremental opportunities and sales through acquisition activities. - Develop, maintain and expand relationships within key accounts and Business Partners. - Provide accurate, weekly sales forecast summary for your territory including a clear indication of potential business both quarterly and beyond. - Strong communication skills, both oral and written. - Strong team player with ability to work independently and take own initiative where appropriate. - High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and time management skills. - Ability to work in a high pressure, dynamic and challenging environment. - Fluency in English & Telugu. Work experience : 5+ years of experience with channels sales is a must. Education/ Qualification : Full-time MBA/ PGDM from reputed Institutes are preferred Key functional/technical competencies : - Strong team player, Strong understanding of retail business, general business acumen - High level of customer focus - Excellent analytical skills, as well as the ability to translate the results of analysis into action points - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Key Behavioral competencies : - Leading and initiating action - Presenting and communicating information - Persuading and influencing - Adapting and responding to change
