Responsibilities: - Trainer would help in training both Lenovo Internal staff & channel partners of SMB and REL business. - Establishing & Setting up Sales Force Training strategy & execution model - Engaging with relevant stakeholders to Conduct regular training need analysis to identify skills gaps. - Monitoring Training Outcomes, ROI & Co-relation with performance metrics to measure efficacy of training programs. - Deploying a wide variety of Training methods across class room. Self-learning, e-learning etc. to develop identified skills - Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the system to ensure alignment for Training execution plans - Managing Training Budgets and its utilization - Bring in external expertise and best practices across the industry/similar industries to improve & benchmark Lenovo Training efforts at the right level. - Working with the field force team to continuously upskill the extended field force (including partner manpower) to develop Lenovo brand ambassadors beyond employees. - Design Training programs spanning Product training, Skill building & Soft skills/upsell. Key Performance Indicators: - Planning & execution of training programs as per needs identified - Budget management - Feedback of training programs - Implemented change in behavior of trained personnel over a sustained period of time Position Requirements: 1.Education/ Qualification - Must Have: Post Graduation - Desired: MBA from premier B School 2. Work experience - 8+ years of marketing and sales experience - Experience in handling end customers is required 3. Key functional/technical competencies: - Proven work experience as a Training manager - especially in the area of Sales/Product/Retail Training, - Desired 4-5 years of sales experience before moving to training. - Track record in designing and executing successful training programs - Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.) - Strong Program development and execution skills - Ability to multi-task, research and analyze different situations - Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with company objectives - Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills - High level of customer focus 4.
