Brief description of the Product Team :

- The Product team is the backbone of the organization and significantly influences Customer Experience with UX, Automation and Platform capabilities, streamlining the application journey and loan life cycle and enabling efficient and quick movement of Customer application from the Operations team in case of manual touchpoints.

- This Team works with multiple teams including Marketing, Operations, Credit, Business, Accounts and Data Science as well as external partners. Since the team partners with multiple stakeholders, it provides a 360 view into the entire life cycle and an opportunity to tackle the most impactful problems.

Responsibilities :

- This is a senior position and in this capacity the Associate Director of Product Management oversees and manages various aspects of the product management department.

- Play a critical role in owning the entire product Life Cycle, laying out the entire roadmap right from planning to execution - align with multiple stakeholders to manage and deliver product releases

- Attitude and an obsession with deadlines, analysis of the product performance, driving a solution set across development teams and a visionary will be the drivers for this role

- Responsible for creating world class products and drive teams in understanding customer needs and satisfaction, improve customer adoption and satisfaction and has the complete ownership of the product lifecycle, road map and development plans

- Identifying new opportunities to reduce TAT, maximize revenue, conversion rates and efficiency, while reducing cost and risks.

- Gathering business requirements and creating the functional spec and planning from strategic bets to writing specs for features /functionalities; align with stakeholders to deliver product releases

- Monitor development of functionalities /features /product and manage releases

- Visualize end-to-end strategies/solutions across the development teams, ensure delivery of projects within the projected timelines, analyse the performance of the product, and tie it up to product growth and its adoption through product enhancements and new features

- Identify new opportunities to reduce TAT, maximize revenue, conversion rates and efficiency, while reducing cost and risks.

- Interact with users (both internal and external), study, and develop the products

- Conceptualize the details of wire framing/prototyping, write user stories, detailed specifications and refine those with design and engineering team and follow through to make sure the implementation matches the spec

- Elicit requirements and feedback from Customers and Stakeholders; conduct training and demo sessions 

- Develop structured feedback mechanisms to elicit information and plough back to product development

- Be an evangelist of product, influence and collaborate within PM group, cross functional teams and stakeholders

- Work towards developing the Product team by identifying the training needs and ensure up-skilling of individuals

- Build sustainable competitive differentiators and benchmark competitive experience and define roadmap to ensure category leadership

Skills :

- Ability to work in an agile and nimble environment focussed on learning and innovation

- Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize ambiguous requirements and provide clarity to the engineering team on the objectives

- Strong understanding of business, product and usage metrics and data-driven decisioning (both strategic and tactical) which will shape the future course of the product

- Strong understanding of recent & emerging IT trends and technical architecture 

- Visualize and conceptualize new ideas and solutions

- Competency in UI designing & prototyping (use of wire framing tools)

- Go-getter attitude and an obsession with deadlines

- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand and prioritize requirements, manage stakeholders and build close relationships

- Strong Customer management skills, excellent communication & presentation skills, and negotiation skills

Requirements :

- BE/BTech/BS degree in computer science or equivalent

- 7-10 yrs of relevant Product Management experience

- Ability to present new ideas in any format of choice (PPT / Wireframe / etc.)

- Ability to adopt process approach to solve a problem

- Excellent communication and high on aptitude

- Prior experience in a FinTech/B2B Product is an advantage
