Job Location - Jalgaon - Managing and optimizing transporting and warehouse costs. - Integration of services for all brands and organizations. - Track the MIS reports regularly for transport-related data and plan the vehicle selection based on optimum volume/weight requirements and manage the pre-negotiated volumes. - Evaluate the performance of all transporters and take corrective actions. - Manage effective relationships with all registered logistics organizations, fleet owners, and vendors. - Regular coordination with regional commercial teams, warehouse, logistics and transport vendors for information and delivery. - Ensure timely inward and outward flow of materials in the system and manage the transport and warehouse expenses within the budgeted allocations. - Share periodic updates on the inventory levels and ensure replenishment of the optimum level of stock. - Update stock in MIS on daily basis and suggest the plan of action based on that. - Always provide complete visibility of freight movement to teams. - Identify warehouses/channels that can be optimized and concentrate on expansion of the national warehouse. - Provide ongoing support to national warehouse and the third party logistics vendors. - Keep track of project sales when a product is delivered to customer from national warehouse. - Coach and train warehouse team.
