Legal Regulatory Director @ Mumbai

- Becoming an integral member of the International Legal Regulatory team

- Telecom licensing, ongoing legal regulatory compliance, preparation of complex legal regulatory reports, supervision of outside counsels, and interaction/negotiation with regulators and other government officials

- Providing strategic advice for growing portfolio of products, particularly for SAARC region

- Being a role model for collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex legal regulatory issues affecting both proposed new and existing products (providing overall product guidance as well as answering questions affecting specific sales and business development/strategy)

- Advising legal commercial counsels on legal regulatory issues and proactively assisting with evaluating which contracting methodology might best enable commercial activities while minimizing regulatory risk

- Providing strategic advice to the business on regulatory constraints/issues with respect to markets and/or technologies

- Providing training for counsels, business/sales teams or regulatory or related issues

- Assisting responsible group with all other telecommunications regulatory compliance matters

- Providing support and advising on issues of significant importance to the Company with regulators

- Supervising, coaching and mentoring the India Legal Regulatory team members
