- Managing corporate governance matters, including board meetings, annual general meetings, and other company secretarial duties.
- Maintain statutory registers, filings, and compliance documentation in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to the board of directors on corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance, and directors' duties and responsibilities.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders including shareholders, regulatory authorities, government agencies, industry associations, as necessary.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on a range of matters.

SKILLS
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
- Company Secretary certification and bachelor's degree in law from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate/legal environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, company secretarial practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
