Designation - Manager Legal - Contract

Job Location - Mumbai

Requisites-

- Dealing with litigation support, legal notices, agreements, ensuring and keeping records of all licenses & compliances and cheque bouncing (138)/criminal cases

- Coordinating with all departments, factories and other authorities

- Knowledge of general laws, Contract Act, PFA regulations, Good drafting skills & communicator

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Supporting the activities relating to filing of cases by the Company and defending of the cases filed against the Company (both criminal and Civil)

- Maintaining record of all the franchisee agreements and other contracts and ensuring the renewal of the same from time to time.

- Handling of 138 cases, attending court and liaison with advocates

- Replying to various consumer case notices and follow up with advocates on the same

- Drafting agreements for franchisee activities, general contracts, affidavits, indemnities, NDAs, replying to govt. notices, vetting the agreements etc.

- Updating of Statutory License for all the plants and co-ordination with the plant legal team for various matters

- Dealing with all legal compliances for upcoming projects and preparing IEM, Application forms and Compliance check list

- Keeping track of all the suits and cases and reporting on monthly basis through company's legal software.

- Dealing with all formalities regarding bill processing and payments thereof to advocates, professionals, property taxes etc.
