Designation:Legal Manager

Experinece: Minimum 2years

Location: Chennai

Qualification: Any Law graduate

candidate has to be from a broking company

Job Profile:
- Issue notices for the recovery of dues

- Handle high value fraud cases /defaulters/insolvent clients and initiate appropriate legal actions

- Review delinquent accounts and portfolio to control recovery operations from delinquent customer and ensure proper documentation.

- Manage the process of settlement through negotiation; ensure approval for settlement accounts is obtained; maintain settlement tracker; and reverse the charges after settlement process is complete.

- Initiating and interacting with clients and Advocates for out of court settlement.

- Debt Recovery Management

- Legal advice to the company on matters related to SEBI/FMC Laws on securities trading, Bye Laws, Rules and Regulations of NSE, NSCCL, BSE, NSDL, NCDEX and MCX SX.

- Drafting and vetting of legal documents, various client agreements, franchisee agreements, and legal instruments related to trading.

- Preparation of notices, petitions, complaints, statements and other legal documents relating to both civil and criminal proceedings, initiating private complaints and execution of court orders/arbitration awards.

- File suits and defending the organization against various litigations.

- Initiate legal proceedings under criminal and civil proceedings under sec 138 of the Negotiable instruments act and do further process for recovery of money.

- Address and resolve Investor Grievances.

- Representing the Company for Exchange arbitration.

- Responsible for monitoring of legal cases, preparation and consolidation of Legal MIS and preparation of the reports for executive management meetings at CO

- Handle inspections.

- Fraud Monitoring.

- Working closely with internal departments and advising on all legal issues / co-ordinating with external advocates

- Provide inputs on Intellectual property rights

- Managing branch inspections.

- Managing branch administration

- Vetting KYC documents and assisting Compliance Officer with branch compliance.

- All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Candidae should be a Legal Manager with min 2 yrs exp of Legal issues in share broking and wealth management.
