Roles And Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for implementing key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial settlement agreements, including compliance framework.

- He/she will instruct and assist external legal partners where necessary for successful resolution of the on-going litigations and issues at various forums.

- He/she will focus on providing strategic and operational guidance to the business's senior leadership on all legal matters, aiding them in the management of litigation issues such as contract disputes and product liability.

- He/she render effective legal assistance in the preparation of legal opinions, studies, reports and correspondence, as required from time to time by various Heads of Departments.

- He/she will ensure that there are efficient systems in place relating to compliance of high impact policies such as anti-bribery and corruption, financial transaction compliance, and so forth.

- He/she will oversee delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish organizational goals, strategies and priorities. He/she will effectively liaison and engage with the relevant statutory bodies and provide proactive, in-depth, legal, business-focused advice to the business leadership on legal aspects on a variety of issues.

- Exposure to global best practices in natural resources sector (across Oil & Gas and Metal & Mining) or in large manufacturing setup

Required Qualification and Experience

- Should be a LLB with 12 years of experience in a corporate legal environment

- Qualification in Corporate Law/CS.
