Head - Legal, Compliance & CS Key responsibilities: - Assessing the compliance risks faced by the organization and to ensure that they are appropriately managed - Disseminating regulations to business and support function and providing ongoing advisory services to ensure that the company operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements standards - Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance norms across the organization - Correspondence with the regulators as required - Providing compliance opinions to the users on applicability of regulatory laws in relation to all activities in the organization - Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to leadership. - Promoting a compliance culture. - Providing guidance, advice, and/or training and educational programs, to improve business' understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements. - Ability and willingness to single-handedly conduct all compliance related functions. - Perform regular and comprehensive compliance reviews as required - Coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations. - Act as principal interface between the organization and RBI on all compliance related matters. - To obtain approvals / licenses / certifications from regulatory bodies wherever needed. Experience Profile: - CA/CS/PGDM experience with 12+ years' work experience - Law degree is required - BFSI especially NBFC experience a must - At least 10 years in a Lending company preferably SME Lending - Dealt directly with RBI as a regulator - Managed RBI audits over a couple of years - Handled Board actively with senior independent directors - Take ownership of and strengthen the Compliance culture in the organisation Only candidates from Lending background need to apply.
