Legal Counsel - Pharma

- Draft, review, negotiate and finalize a wide variety of agreements for business, including Supply Agreement, License and Supply Agreement (Finished formulations), Technology Transfer Agreements, Services/ Master Service Agreements, Product Registration Services Agreement, Consulting Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Distributor Agreement, In-licensing and Out-licensing Agreement , Development/ Co-development Agreements, MOU's, LOI/ Term Sheets and other Agreements related to development, manufacturing and supply of generic finished formulation and API for Global territories.

- Draft, review, negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for various functions (other than business) in accordance with the accepted process.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to seek inputs on proposed business relationships and finalize contracts.

- Ensure closure of tasks within the agreed timelines.

- Identify and assess legal, financial and operational risks and escalate to appropriate level of the organization per established processes.

- Contribute in designing and implementing policies and procedures covering contract negotiation and management and to monitor compliance with such policies and procedures across the organization.

- Keep track of status of contracts, whether in draft, signatures, expired, or otherwise, and follow up where necessary.

- Keeps informed of new laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, and assists with development of policies and training as needed.

- Provide recommendations for and enable continuous improvement and increased efficiency in the overall functioning of the Legal function.

- Provide legal training to internal stakeholders on need basis.

- Support and collaborate with the Business Compliance Officer to ensure implementation of compliance policies within the concerned Business Units.
