- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating M&A related documentation.
- Knowledge of legal and compliance issues, relating to cross-border transactions
- Exposure to Regulatory issues
- Exposure to Competition law issue
- Experience in cross border deals
- Exposure to contract disputes, including dispute resolution and/or litigation (preferred)
- Create and maintain a culture of compliance by understanding local statutory compliance requirements, regularly review current process and introduce enhancements.
- Report to management on identified gaps in compliance and process for remediation
- Interacting with regulators
- Work with internal business units and responsible functions to ensure compliance with policy
- Provide support for team managing implementation of procedural changes, examination remediation, and risk avoidance improvements
- Provide support/backup to team in preparation of summaries of new laws and regulations for dissemination to the relevant business units
