About the Opportunity: The team provides standardized and streamlined support in Legal function. What you'll be doing: - Contracts: i. Review and negotiate commercial agreements such as client Master Services Agreements, SOWs/Work Orders, Vendor Contracts, Software License Agreements, Service Level Agreements, NDAs and RFPs. ii. Ensure legal risks are addressed while balancing business needs and objectives. iii. Ensure contracts are negotiated within contracting standards, while facilitating deal-to deal specific exceptions and customizations and pro-actively working with Business team members to creatively solve issues. - Ability to take ownership of projects. - Data Privacy i. Legal advice on Data Privacy and Information Security requirements as applicable globally. ii. Lead / assist in data privacy projects as a legal expert. - Intellectual Property Rights: Conversant with IPR laws and practice. - Specific Projects: Assist with special projects as the need arises to support the businesses strategic growth while keeping within the acceptable risk profile. - Conducting Trainings: Conducting training and awareness sessions on upcoming legal and compliance areas. Ensure team development and orientation. Continue to build and improve processes to minimize team conflicts. - handling multiple legal assignments and ensure minimization of legal risks to the organization What you'll bring to the team: - Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills; extensive experience with global commercial contracts. - Attention to detail - Quick turnaround time. - Graduate in Law (LL.B.) regular from a reputed institute with good academic background. - 5-6+ years of experience: a combination of time with a top-tier law firm as well as in-house experience with a reputed corporation preferred preferably in the ratio of 50:50 - Experience working in an MNC (preferable but not mandatory). - Experience working with senior individuals. - Experience dealing with board matters. - Experienced in negotiation.
