Review global contract documents and revise/edit contracts to ensure compliance with master agreement terms, company policy, customer requirements, and mitigation of all contractual risk
- Preparation of proposals, conducting contract negotiations, and administration of commercial contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, customer requirements, and sound business judgment; Review and analysis of contract documents to determine contractual obligations
- Monitor company performance for conformance to contract requirements, and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that any problems/risks are identified and resolved/mitigated in a timely manner
- Timely preparation and dissemination of information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, deviations, negotiations, and completion or termination to all corporate and program stakeholders
- Respond to complex inquiries from customer and management regarding contract obligations and revisions
- Act as contract liaison between the company and customers, including participation in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations, and contract changes, contractual escalations, and issue/compliance resolution.
You should possess the following skills:
- Strong Understanding of Commercial Contracts - Candidate should have strong understanding of Commercial Contracts, contractual terms & conditions in order to review & revise such contracts.
- Risk Mitigation - Candidate should have the ability analyze Contract terms and conditions and asses risk; and take measures to mitigate all risks. Candidate should have the ability to create mitigation strategies to risky terms and conditions.
- Contracts Drafting - Candidate should have the ability to draft legal contracts that meets company policy & customer requirements. Candidate should also have the ability to prepare proposals keeping in mind company policies & procedures, applicable laws & customer requirements.
- Contracts Negotiation - Candidate should have the ability to negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers and influence customers to agree to our requested position.
- Good Communication - Candidate should have good, clear, written and spoken communication to be able to interact with clients across the globe, from varios nationalities.
- Contracts Review - Candidate should have the ability to review contratcs from time to time, ensure that the terms & conditions comply with the company policies, and identify risks and provide a solution to correct those risks.
- MIS / Status updation - Provide timely update on contratc status, modifications if any, negotiations made, impact on stakeholders, termination etc. in a clear understandable manner.
- Query Resolution - Ability to provide prompt reply to queries regarding contractual documents.
